Light cigarettes provoking purchase do to percieved health improvements is not worthy enough for class-action status apparently:
‘Last Thursday, the Second Circuit issued McLaughlin v. American Tobacco Company, No. 06-4666 (2d Cir. Apr. 3, 2008), reversing Judge Jack Weinstein’s certification of a class including virtually all Americans who had purchased cigarettes labeled as “light” or “lights.”’

Initial Reaction: Price Changes Leads to Weight Change
Possible Conclusions:
- Markets will not work towards consumer health? Definitely
- Markets are capable of eliminating the need for government? It’s a slight stretch but mostly correct.
